Nevada marriage licenses are issued by government offices and  are not included in the package price, nor can they be purchased from our wedding chapel or any other wedding chapel.  Luckily, the Clark County Clerk has made it very easy to get a marriage license! Yes! Couples residing in the U.S., regardless of which state, can order a certified copy of their marriage certificate after the wedding for their state to recognize the legal marriage. Couples who reside outside the United States may require an Apostille for in addition to certified proof of marriage. Click here for more information and links to order your official documents.

Your time inside the Hitchin’ Post Wedding Chapel will be about 20 minutes from the start of your ceremony until the last photo is taken. If you feel you need or want more time, please let us know!

Some days at the Hitchin’ Post are busy! It’s important that at least one of the ceremony couple arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled ceremony time. We’ll go over the final details and collect any balances due at this time. This is also the time to pay your Officiant and review your ceremony plan. The ceremony couple must be there and ready at the scheduled ceremony time. Your invited guests will be held in our waiting area outside the chapel and will be seated promptly as scheduled.

Yes, though there is a fee to use your own fresh floral equal to ½ of our price for the same items you supply from an outside vendor. See our ADD ONS page for fresh floral pricing. We also do not accept delivery of floral from outside vendors, so you wil have to bring it to the chapel with you.

The Hitchin’ Post is a full service wedding chapel and provides aisle runners, room decor and unity ceremony kits at very competitive prices. If you prefer to use an outside source for any of these items, our fee is ½ the price we bill for the same items.  See our ADD ONS page for details and pricing. Please also arrange to have outside source decor, etc.  delivered, set-up, and removed during the time allotted for your ceremony.

The Hitchin’ Post provides professional photography for all ceremonies in our chapel. HD video and live webcasting are also offered and included in many packages. 

We also offer a Guest Photo Pass allowing invited guests to capture non-flash photos during your ceremony from their seats inside the chapel for $75.00

If you would like to provide your own professional photographer, you may purchase a Professional Photo Pass for $195.00. Your photographer will be required to provide a copy of both their Clark County business license and liability insurance

Yes, you can! Our fee for an outside officiant is $100.00. Your officiant must be licensed to perform marriages in the state of Nevada and will be responsible for filing your completed license with the clerk’s office.  

Most packages at the Hitchin’ Post Wedding Chapel allow you to invite up to 10 guests, though we can seat up to 50. If you’d like to invite more than 10 guests, consider purchasing one of our guest add-ons or upgrading to our GOLD RUSH package.

Traditional wedding songs include Pachelbel Canon in D for bridal parties, The Bridal March aka “Here Comes the Bride”, and the Bridal Chorus by Wagner as an exit song. CLICK HERE FOR SAMPLES.  If you have something else in mind, please let us know!

You will receive a link in your email to view your gallery of images the day after your ceremony. The gallery will have every photo we captured! If your package included digital photos you will be able to download them directly from the gallery. If you purchased an Unlocked Gallery add-on, you’ll be able to immediately download your entire collection of photos in high resolution! Your online photo gallery will be active for 90 days and will be kept in our archives for a full year after your ceremony.

If you’ve purchased an HD video download add on or it was included in your package, you will receive an email with a link to preview and download your video within 24 hours.

Webcasting allows people you invite to watch your ceremony live and in real-time from wherever they are in the internet-connected world! You can use our built-in invitation system or simply share this link with your invitees: gethitched.vegas/watch

Absolutely! If you want to get married right now and come equipped with a marriage license, we’ll do everything we can to make it happen. We do, however, recommend booking your ceremony in advance even if only a few hours ahead of time. 

 An additional fee of $45.00 is added to same day “walk in” bookings after 4:00pm when available.

Yes! We allow one change at no cost as long as you request the change at least 30 days prior to your reserved date. Please see our Complete Terms of Service for details and any related fees.

Tipping is a tradition in Las Vegas and is most welcome at the Hitchin’ Post Wedding Chapel! Wedding coordinators, photographers, and videographers are grateful for any tip amount you feel is appropriate, though it is common to tip each $20.00 or more.

No! The Hitchin’ Post Wedding Chapel takes pride in being up front with all of our pricing. The formula is pretty simple, too! Your cost will be your selected package price and the price of any add-ons you choose (paid to the Hitchin’ Post), plus the Officiant’s fee of $60.00 paid to the officiant. Celebrity Impersonator officiant’s fees range will be disclosed prior to booking. That’s it!
